In battle with Akhilesh Yadav over 'cycle', Mulayam Singh to meet survey body in front of UP decision 2017

NEW DELHI: Mulayam Singh Yadav, joined by sibling Shivpal Yadav and close helper Amar Singh, met with the Election Commission in Delhi to stake claim to the "cycle," the image of the Samajwadi Party that he established 25 years prior. "There is no question with Akhilesh", said the gathering patriarch, who has been tested by his child and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav both for the image and the post of gathering boss and has guaranteed before the Election Commission the support of more than 200 of 229 Samajwadi Party administrators in the state.

On Saturday, Akhilesh Yadav's uncle and boss assistant Ram Gopal Yadav conveyed to the Election Commission six boxes of reports to demonstrate that the UP boss pastor now heads the state's decision party, hosting been named get-together president set up of his dad at a meeting went to by most Samajwadi Party MLAs, different pioneers and around 5,000 specialists on January 1.

At his short question and answer session on Sunday, Mulayam Singh showed his system without numbers to back him - he doesn't recognize that the gathering has part, and demands that he keeps on heading it. "I am the national president, Akhilesh Yadav is the central clergyman, Shivpal Yadav is the president of the Uttar Pradesh unit," Mulayam Singh said, emphasizing that the meeting that saw his child being named party president was unlawful as it was called by Ram Gopal Yadav, removed a day prior by him from the Samajwadi Party.

At Mulayam Singh's Delhi home, Ram Gopal Yadav's face hosts been detached from a gathering notice that components whatever is left of the pioneers - including Mulayam Singh and Akhilesh.

Legislator Amar Singh - who alongside Mulayam Singh's sibling Shivpal Yadav is rebuked by Akhilesh Yadav for his separation with his dad - initially claimed that the reports gave to the Election Commission are fashioned and after that contacted the Chief Minister, offering to stop the gathering to maintain a strategic distance from a split. "I will move to one side and Shivpal won't challenge. What more do you need?" he said.

"The lion's share is with Akhilesh Yadav. The image will go to whoever has numbers," Ram Gopal Yadav has said, precluding a rapprochement.

While Akhilesh Yadav is accepted to have shown his ability to challenge on another image, his group needs the "cycle" with potential accomplice Congress enthusiastic about him holding it. Decisions will be held in seven stages in UP beginning February 11, which leaves little time for either group to advance another image with voters.

On the off chance that the Election Commission is not persuaded by the claim of either side, it could today solidify the "cycle" and designate new images to both groups.
