Istanbul terror attack: Khushi’s WhatsApp status said ‘What if God asks you after you die… So how was Heaven?’
Khushi Shah, one of the two Indians who were among the 39 slaughtered in a dread assault at an Istanbul dance club amid New Year's Eve festivities, was going to Turkey for a design shoot. Hailing from Vadodara, the 27-year-old mold originator moved to Mumbai six years back to open a boutique in Juhu in the wake of finishing a course in form outlining in the US. She touched base in Turkey on December 28 to meet customers and was booked to profit to Mumbai for January 2 in the wake of ringing in the new year in Istanbul. Her last WhatsApp status said: "Imagine a scenario in which God asks you after you kick the bucket… 'So how was Heaven.
Vadodara MP Ranjan Bhatt, who met Khushi's dad Ashwin Shah on Monday morning, told The Indian Express, "He (Khushi's dad) called the staff of her lodging around 5 am on Sunday getting some information about her whereabouts. They educated him that Khushi was not in her room. Later, he reached the Ministry of External Affairs and gave the points of interest of his little girl. The MEA then made request in Istanbul and affirmed Khushi's demise."
Khushi's senior sibling Akshay and her cousin Hiren Chauhan have left for Istanbul to convey her body to Vadodara. Her mom kicked the bucket a year prior after delayed disease.
"The family is in stun. My siblings have traveled to Turkey. When they finish the systems, they will illuminate us. The family will choose about her last rituals later," said Khushi's cousin Bhavin Shah.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani additionally mourned the demise and guaranteed Khushi's group of support from the administration. Vadodara Collector Lochan Sehra met the relatives at their home and passed on the CM's message.
MP Bhatt said: "Vadodara has lost a girl. Our legislature is with the family. Outside Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, in spite of her evil wellbeing, if all support to the family. I am continually liasioning with the powers, requesting that they help her sibling at Mumbai and Vadodara air terminals."
Khushi's companion Tanisha Singh said, "I asked her for what good reason she was observing New Year's in Istanbul. She said she had a conference, so we wanted to celebrate together after she returned. "She was such a sprightly individual, I have dependably observed her upbeat."
Khushi did her tutoring from Tejas Vidyalaya in Vadodara. She then went to the US and graduated in form/clothing outline and promoting from American Intercontinental University in 2007-10. In 2011, she propelled her garments line Khushi Z in Juhu. In January 2016, she opened a planner boutique for men's dress. "Nobs" was initiated by performer Salman Khan.
Biniti Trivedi, executive at Tejas Vidyalaya, said, "She was extremely imaginative."
