Superstar Allu Arjun has begun shooting for his next film titled Naa Peru Surya.
Basking in the success of his Duvvada Jagannadham, Allu Arjun has begun work on the forthcoming film Naa Peru Surya, in which he plays a military officer. The regular shooting of the film commenced earlier today.
Naa Peru Surya is being directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, who has worked in blockbusters like Kick and Temper. Naa Peru Surya marks his directorial debut.
Arjun is currently undergoing month-long training with a US-based trainer to authentically look and play a military officer.
"He will work closely with a trainer to achieve the desired body for the role. As a military officer, he is expected to look a certain way and be extremely fit," a source close to Arjun told IANS.
The source, however, clarified that he won't sport six-pack abs for this one.
"He is not working towards six-pack abs. The director wants him to look as fit as possible to able to do justice to the role," he said.
Bollywood music composers Vishal-Shekar have been roped in to compose music for the film.
Touted to be a action drama, the film is being produced by Sirisha Lagadapati Sridhar and presented by Nagababu.
Naa Peru Surya also stars Anu Emmanuel, Arjun Sarja and Sarath Kumar in pivotal roles.
